About this listen
Classified is the final book of the Elite series and should only be listened to after book one, Danger Zone, and book two, Need for Speed.
They train to serve their country. They strive to be the best. But only a select few can be...the Elite.
Mateo Morgan
Call sign: Solo
Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the US Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.
Mission rules:
- Kick everyone’s ass.
- Do whatever it takes to win.
- Do your best to distract the competition.
- Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.

Not For Me
I didn't love this book. Apparently, I'm in the minority, but I really tried with this "trilogy" (it's not a trilogy, it's one book that I have to pay for three times). The sad part is, that I think Solo and Panther's story would have worked better if it were actually in one book, because each "book" lacked character arcs, romance arcs, and a rounded plot. It was only *part* of a story, and on its own, it wasn't satisfying.
Additionally, the descriptions were all over the place. While the writing lacked a solid sense of setting, I felt like I was inundated with how "perfect" Solo and Panther's bodies were. It was too much, to be honest. People have imperfections, and it would have been nice to see some, particularly after Panther's accident, where it would make sense for him to have some kind of scarring. These two were just two overly-perfect alpha-males, and it grew old really fast.
Overall, I don't think that these are authors that I'll read again. I'm sure that their other books are perfectly lovely, but I don't think that the style is for me.
