About this listen
Siege of Terra, Book 6
With the Lion's Gate space port taken by the enemy, Jaghatai Khan of the White Scars prepares a brazen gambit, but one of his former brothers rises to take up arms against him.
Listen to it because: the heroic and dynamic White Scars hurtle headlong into combat with the unyielding Death Guard. As brother battles brother, the fate of Terra itself hangs in the balance.
The story: the Inner Walls are breached.
Traitor vanguards tear towards the heart of the Palace, sensing victory. Desperate gambits are attempted: an unwilling saint is released into the ruins, as well as an enthusiastic sinner. A black sword rises, forged from spite, ready to create a legend. But amid the slaughter, Jaghatai Khan, Warhawk of Chogoris, prepares to launch the most audacious strike of the conflict. His goal is nothing less than the liberation of the Lion's Gate space port. Cut off from any help, he stakes everything on one desperate counter-offensive, launched against an old enemy who has been made far greater than he ever was before. As the White Scars ride out against the newly crowned lords of life and death, they know that defeat for them dooms not only the Legion, but Terra itself.
Written by Chris Wraight. Narrated by Jonathan Keeble.

For the Khan!
Without a doubt the White Scars and their primarch have often been overlooked by the likes of the Ultramarines, Imperial Fists or the Blood or Dark Angels. This was a great change for the 40K universe and the fights between Mortarion and Jaghatai is easily one of my favourites of the series.

Darkness in Mortarion’s arc! White scars shining bright!
Overall solid offering - this book really picked things up after Mortis suffered with too many plot beats and political robot moments. The Mortarion and Khan stuff is superb. Plot feels consequential and set up all kinds of cool stuff for the next book. Chris writes battle scenes wonderfully!

Great book! I love how the White Scars and Death Guard were portrayed in this story. no spoilers but I found myself relisting to certain parts because of its raw description of specific events, conflicts, narration etc. overall fantastic listen 10/10

Best of the Siege so far with Saturnine
Best siege of terra book so far along with Saturnine, the more focused plot on the White Scars and Death Guard makes the story feel really tight and the helps the pacing flow really well
This is also the book Sigismund and Black Templar fans have been waiting for

A highlight in the siege of terra series
White scars are my favourite legion and this book did them justice for sure. Mostly enjoyable listen apart from one of the side stories being fairly slow

Master of the White Scars...!
For the Khan!
Master writer Chris Wraight delivers another engrossing tale once more, and brings ever more life, awesomeness and lore to the Fifth Legion and all the other factions in the book. Ever onwards moves the story of the Siege of Terra to it's conclusion and this novel is certainly one of the best in the series thus far.

Simply the Best
As one would expect from the Siege of Terra series, book 6 is phenomenal and Jonathan Keeble's narration is unmatched.
